Following on from our previous articles about the sponsorships of our local sports teams, we wanted to give you an update on all of the latest news and the teams’ progress.

Pure Staff is very proud to be sponsoring three local teams; the Wrens Nest U9 Girls Team, Handsworth 2XV Rugby Team and Frank Bell-Reynolds, and the Boldmere Falcons U11 Football Team.

In this update, we’ll be sharing some of the highlights from the past month, as well as some of the upcoming events that we’re looking forward to.

Wrens Nest Under 9’s – Off To A Very Positive Start!

The Wrens Nest U9 team have had a fantastic few months! From their previous games, they’ve won 2 games, drawn 1 game, and lost 1 game.

The girls that have been together for 3 years now have seen more teammates added as they have stepped up from 5-a-side to 7-a-side.

Their twice-weekly training sessions have seen their dedication and skills rise to the occasion!

Very exciting things to come from these girls!

The Handsworth 2XV rugby team’s new sponsored kit has arrived!

It’s a reversible shirt that features the away kit on the inside of the shirt, hence the little noticeable squares.

The team hasn’t played a league game yet due to the weather conditions, however, they have played a friendly game which they had won about 2 weeks ago.

If the weather permits, hopefully, we’ll see the team play on Saturday, just before the Christmas break and return back to playing on the 7th of January.

Boldmere Falcons U11 – Fantastic Progress So Far!

It’s been a tricky couple of months for the boys at Boldmere Falcons U11

There was a significantly disrupted fixture list due to the weather conditions and player absences. Heavy rain and waterlogged pitches had cancelled two fixtures, and in addition, they have had to contend with sweeping sickness bugs going around schools and long injury lay-offs for their Captain and Vice-Captain.

Taking everything into account, the boys that could play had put in a really concerted effort in the top tier of the league format. They have won three, drew one and lost two in the last few months, but with all players now back fit, they are hoping for a great end of the year against Sportsco Saints on Sunday before the Christmas break.
