The Pure Staff Foundation is proud to announce our first charitable contribution of the year. We have donated £1,500 to The Buddy Bag Foundation, a truly inspiring organisation dedicated to making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children.
Our Managing Director, David Whitehouse, met with the charity’s CEO and Co-Founder, Karen Williams OBE DL, to hand over the cheque personally.
Supporting Children in Crisis
The Buddy Bag Foundation was created to address a heartbreaking reality. 48,000 children require emergency accommodation in the UK each year. Many of these children flee violent or traumatic situations, often leaving home with nothing but the clothes they are wearing.
The foundation steps in to bridge this gap by supplying “Buddy Bags.” These act as backpacks filled with essential items such as toiletries, pyjamas, socks, and underwear. crucially, they also include comfort items like a teddy bear and a book.
These bags provide more than just material goods. They offer a sense of ownership, comfort, and love to children who have lost everything familiar to them.

David Whitehouse expressed his admiration for the charity’s work, noting how amazing it is to see the support they provide to children in their time of need. Having supported Karen and her team previously, we know that this donation is in safe hands and wil
l go directly towards creating more of these vital care packages.
