We would all like to give our congratulations to Chris Thomas for reaching a milestone of 5 years working for the Pure Staff team!!
Chris had this to say about his Pure Staff journey so far:
“5 years have very quickly come and gone and have offered some of the most pleasurable experiences in my time in recruitment. Looking back into the early days of when I joined Pure Staff from where we were to now is a remarkable achievement for the business.
“I feel I have played a key role in the growth and I feel I have been able to work closely with my colleagues by coaching and developing the Birmingham team to be a more profitable branch year on year.
“With the introduction of key members Josh Clover and Christopher Cooper I felt having more experienced guys around me has helped me blossom as a manager and I now feel I have an exceptional team around me whom can go onto bigger and better things in the business.
“5 years feel like 3. Time just has come and gone so fast but I feel that so much good has come out of the 5 years and I expect many more years of the same to come.
“With an ever-changing industry, with regulation changes and the changes internally of a business that is ever-growing means more compliance regulations. But I see a vision of where the business could be in 10 years from now. I’m excited at the potential the business has to become a bigger agency which will hopefully bring higher opportunities in the business for me to work towards. I feel safe in the knowledge I have experienced, knowledgeable people working around me (the likes of Luke Bartlett/Dave Whitehouse/Anthony Sidebottom and the team in general) so that I always have people I can get quality advice with from. I don’t feel as if I will ever stop learning even after a successful recruitment career spanning 18 years. I champion the wins now just as I did when I came into recruitment all those years ago and I feel this demonstrates me as the leader I am today.
“Pure Staff values are one of the main reasons I joined when I did. I always felt my ideas were always listened to and developed on by everybody involved in the business. Helped by the fact I had, and still have a very close relationship with the board of directors. It was never going to be an easy decision working for my old company as long as I did but turned out to be one of the best decisions I made.
“Anybody who has the opportunity to join our business will see that we are like a big family with a great working environment. Everybody gets rewarded for the hard work they put in and this recognition by the board means that investments made not only ensure we have happy staff but also a good place to come and work every day.”
“Chris started working for us as the Branch Manager of the Birmingham office where he has helped grow a team of 6 consultants to 12 by increasing sales year after year. Chris has always shown a passion for both sales and customer service which has lead to many good relationships with both longstanding and new customers. I would like to personally congratulate Chris for his hard work and dedication over the past 5 years.”
