Our Managing Director, David, had the distinct privilege of presenting Karen from The Buddy Bag Foundation with a cheque for an incredible £1,500 on behalf of Pure Staff.

A Buddy Bag offers a sense of stability and warmth in that moment. Each bag is thoughtfully packed with toiletries, books, toys, and, crucially, a teddy bear. About The Buddy Bag Foundation
The Buddy Bag Foundation was established in 2015 by founder Karen Williams, following a visit to a local Women’s Refuge. Shocked to discover that children often arrived with nothing but the clothes they were wearing, Karen was moved to create a solution. The foundation aims to restore a sense of safety and security into a child’s life during a traumatic time by providing them with a Buddy Bag.
Each bag is tailor-made for boys and girls, appropriate for their age, and filled with essential items like pyjamas, underwear, socks, toiletries, and comforting items like a book and a teddy bear.
