Pure Staff is delighted to announce our latest charitable contribution. This month, the Pure Staff Foundation has donated £1,500 to The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association (Guide Dogs UK).
Charity is a cornerstone of our company culture, and for our Managing Director, Dave, it is also a vital family value. He takes great pride in involving his children in the Foundation’s work to teach them the importance of giving back to the community.
This specific donation was driven by the next generation. Dave’s 8-year-old daughter selected Guide Dogs UK as the beneficiary. Her choice was inspired by her own ambition; she hopes to become a guide dog trainer when she is older.
Dave and his daughter visited the local centre together to hand over the cheque. It was a memorable experience for both, but especially for her. The charity staff were incredibly welcoming, going above and beyond to make the visit special. They even allowed her to join in a training session with one of the dogs, giving her a first-hand taste of her dream career.
