What an incredible day we had at the Pure Staff Foundation Charity Football Tournament on Saturday! Fifteen fantastic teams came together at Star City, not just for a day of sporting competition, but to make a real difference for an amazing cause. The atmosphere was electric, with every team giving it their all for a spot in the final.
A Champion’s Triumph and an Amazing Result
The tournament saw some brilliant football, but it all came down to a thrilling final between No Tekk Army and Cargo Express. Both teams played with heart and skill, but in the end, it was No Tekk Army (in grey!) who emerged victorious with a decisive 2-0 win. A huge congratulations to them on their well-deserved championship title, and a massive shout-out to Cargo Express for a brilliant tournament run. It was a final to remember!

Making Wishes Come True
The real winner of the day was the charity itself. Thanks to the generosity of every player, team, and supporter, we are absolutely thrilled to announce that we raised an incredible £2,078 for Promise Dreams!
This amazing total means that a young boy named Arthur can now have his wish to go to Lapland! It’s moments like these that truly show the power of community and a shared goal.
A Huge Thank You to Everyone Involved!
This event wouldn’t have been possible without the support of so many people. A huge thank you to every single team, player, and supporter who attended and made the day so special. Your enthusiasm and generosity are what made this event such a success.
We also want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our incredible sponsors, B&M Waste and Beauparc, for their support. Their contribution was essential in helping us bring this fantastic event to life.
We can’t wait to see everyone again at our next event. Thank you all for helping us turn a day of football into a life-changing experience for a child and their family.
About Promise Dreams and Arthur’s Wish
We are incredibly proud to have supported Promise Dreams, a national charity that makes the dreams of seriously or terminally ill children and their families come true. They provide a range of support, from helping to purchase specialist equipment to creating unforgettable memories.
Our fundraising efforts have been dedicated to a very special boy named Arthur. Arthur is a vibrant 3-year-old with a cheeky smile and an infectious personality that brightens every room. In May 2023, Arthur was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia, a life-threatening illness. After two grueling years of treatment, there is finally hope. Arthur’s condition is more stable, and thanks to your incredible generosity, a magical opportunity awaits.
With the money we raised, Arthur’s wish to go to Lapland will become a reality. Thank you for helping us give Arthur this incredible gift and a moment of pure joy.
