At Pure Staff, we are thrilled to share the success of our recent charity bike race fundraiser in support of The Shakespeare Hospice. The event, held on the 23rd of January, saw our teams come together for an incredible day of friendly competition, teamwork, and dedication to a fantastic cause.
The challenge was set with two exercise bikes in each of our regional offices—Midlands & The North and Wales & The South. The goal? To cycle the most miles over a gruelling 9.5-hour period. The energy and anticipation were palpable as both teams geared up, determined to pedal their way to both victory and the opportunity to raise vital funds for The Shakespeare Hospice.
The results were nothing short of impressive! Our Midlands & The North team emerged as the winners, clocking in an incredible 453.26km, while the Wales & The South team also put in an outstanding effort, cycling 439.8km. Together, these inspiring achievements helped to raise a phenomenal £1,380 for The Shakespeare Hospice, a cause close to many of our hearts. This vital organisation provides exceptional care and support to patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses, making every penny raised incredibly meaningful.
