Yard Operative
Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative to join our client based in Tyseley Birmingham for cover shifts. Our client is a well-established Timber supplier
Your Role –
As a Yard Operative, your duties will include:
- Loading and unloading timber deliveries using manual handling techniques.
- Picking, preparing, and checking customer orders accurately.
- Storing timber products safely and keeping stock organized.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe yard environment.
- Following health and safety procedures, particularly when handling heavy timber and operating equipment.
- Supporting warehouse and yard operations as required.
Requirements –
- Previous experience in a similar role or labouring environment desirable
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and develop within the engineering sector
Pay & Shifts –
- £12.71 per hour
- Monday – Friday adhoc
- 07:00 – 16:00
- 30min unpaid break
