Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative on behalf of our fantastic client based in Irlam, Salford. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established business specialising in Logistics. The role is ongoing for the foreseeable future, with clamp truck training provided.
Your Role as a Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative
As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:
Operating a counterbalance forklift to move stock safely around the warehouse
Loading and unloading courier vehicles
Manifesting and preparing stock for delivery
Assisting with loading vehicles using a clamp truck when required
Handling photocopiers, kitchen appliances and other products
Carrying out general warehouse duties as required
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
Following all site health and safety procedures
Receiving clamp truck training as part of the role
Requirements
A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence is essential
Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift
Willingness to undertake clamp truck training
Good attention to detail and awareness of health and safety
Reliable, punctual and hard-working
Able to work efficiently as part of a team
Flexible approach to warehouse duties
Pay & Shifts
£12.71 – £12.81 per hour
Monday – Friday
06:00 – 14:30
Ongoing work for the foreseeable future
