Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Van Driver working on behalf of our well-established customer based in the Lichfield area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Van Driver looking for ongoing work with a professional transport operation and a company that genuinely values its drivers.
Our customer is a highly regarded furniture retailer and home furnishings business, delivering quality furniture directly to customers’ homes throughout the region.

Holiday Pay
This role operates with accrued holiday pay, meaning holiday entitlement is accrued in addition to your hourly rate and paid when annual leave is taken. Rolled up holiday pay is not available for this vacancy.
The Role
As a Van Driver, you will be working alongside a driver’s mate completing home furniture deliveries across local and regional areas.
Your duties will include:
- Completing between 6 and 12 deliveries per shift
- Delivering furniture directly to customers’ homes
- Working closely with a driver’s mate
- Completing POD (Proof of Delivery) documentation accurately
- Providing excellent customer service at all times
- Representing the business professionally while on customer sites
- Following all transport and health & safety procedures
This role is within the home delivery and furniture distribution industry, offering a varied working day and regular customer interaction.
Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday
- 6:00am starts
- Typical shifts between 8 and 12 hours
- Ongoing work available
- No weekend working required
- Occasional overtime available
Requirements
To be considered for this Van Driver role, you will need:
- Previous multi-drop or delivery driving experience preferred
- Full UK driving licence
- Good customer service skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to complete delivery paperwork accurately
- Reliable and professional approach to work
- Ability to work effectively as part of a two-person delivery team
