About the Role
Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Van Delivery Driver on behalf of a well-established business operating within the automotive parts industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for ongoing work with a supportive team and consistent assignments.
The successful Van Delivery Driver will be delivering automotive parts to dealerships, garages and commercial customers across local and regional routes.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Driving a company van to complete scheduled deliveries
- Loading the vehicle prior to departure
- Delivering automotive parts to dealerships, garages and business customers
- Completing approximately 12-15 deliveries per shift
- Handling a range of vehicle components and parts
- Carrying out manual handling and heavy lifting duties where required
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
- Completing relevant delivery paperwork and customer documentation
- Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach at all times
Shift Pattern
- Start times typically from 07:00
- Monday to Friday work available
- Shift lengths may vary depending on delivery schedules
- Local and regional delivery routes
- Ongoing temporary work with the potential for long-term opportunities
Requirements
- Full UK Category B driving licence
- No more than 6 penalty points
- Previous van driving experience preferred
- Good knowledge of road transport regulations
- Ability to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting
- Strong customer service skills
- Reliable and professional attitude
- Good communication skills
