We are working very closely with a recognised foodie client based in Cheshire and as a result we are now looking to appoint a Stock Controller / Goods In Op
Supporting the Supply Chain Manager from their office based in Wrexham.
Perform outbound checks on circa 75-100 pallets per day across and average of 5 outbound lorries per day, 5 days per week.
Checks include:
- Correct products & quantity per pallet / order (some orders are multiple pallets).
- Quality of product – Reject and swap any significantly damaged cases.
- Correct paperwork and pallet labels. o Note and inform stock admin, transport and customer service of any issues and amendments.
- Take pictures of the outgoing pallets and upload them to the server.
Briefly check inbound deliveries in to the cold store for Asia and Brazil sea containers and European lorries. Circa 15 inbounds per week.
The checks for these inbounds takes approximately 5-10 mins and are:
- Initial state of loads when the doors are opened.
- Correct load reference numbers and products.
- Temperature reading of the loads when opened.
- Pictures of loads when opened.
- Product quantity when load is completed.
Other Duties:
- Completing and maintaining a number of Excel spreadsheet to record and analyse certain metrics for the business. You will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager in regards to this.
- Carry out certain checks within the cold store when required on products and returns and liaise & communicate findings to the Supply Chain Manager and Stock Controller.
- Carry out re-boxing of damaged cases within the cold store or returned to the cold store when required. * Keep control of spare cases stock.
- Collecting and bringing back to the office samples from inbound loads. Every European load (circa 5 loads per week) ad hoc for Asia and Brazil loads.

Work hours are 07:30 to 16:30, Monday to Friday with an hour lunch break
