🚛 Service Driver / Yard Operative (Temp to Perm)
📍 Based in Aldridge
We are looking to recruit a reliable and hardworking Service Driver / Yard Operative on a temp to perm basis. This is a varied, hands-on role combining portable toilet servicing, driving, and yard-based duties, ideal for someone seeking a long-term position after a successful temporary period.
Please note, we are only looking for candidates who live within a 15-20 minute commute to Aldridge.
💷 Pay & Hours
£12.21 per hour
40-48 hours per week
Weekend work available, paid at time and a half
Overtime opportunities available
🔧 Service Driving Duties
Driving company vehicles to client sites safely and responsibly
Servicing and emptying portable toilets in line with environmental and Health & Safety regulations
Flexibility with service routes as required
Daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance
Completing and maintaining all required paperwork accurately
Carrying out all duties in line with H&S requirements
Using a tablet device to capture customer signatures and record job details
🏗️ Yard Operative Duties
Loading and unloading vehicles by hand
(Forklift use only if holding a valid company forklift licence)Sorting, repairing, and preparing stock for client use
Transporting stock to storage areas
Safe use of pressure washing equipment
Ensuring stock is clean and ready for hire
Keeping yard and work areas clean and tidy
Assisting customers and answering basic questions
Carrying out any other reasonable tasks required by the company
