Pure Staff’s Industrial Team are currently recruiting Forklift Reach Truck Drivers for an exciting opportunity with a growing catering supplies business based in Birmingham.
The role offers £15.13 per hour + accrued holiday pay, with shifts running Monday to Friday, 16:00 to 01:30. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Reach Truck Drivers looking for consistent weekday work, with the potential for a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a Reach Truck safely and efficiently within the warehouse, moving, storing and preparing catering supplies for customer orders.

What Will You Be Doing?
This is a hands-on warehouse role, involving the safe movement and storage of catering supplies.
Your duties will include:
- Operating a Reach Truck forklift safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Moving stock around the warehouse
- Storing products safely in designated locations
- Picking and preparing catering supplies for customer orders
- Replenishing stock and maintaining accurate stock locations
- Carrying out daily checks on the forklift
- Following all site health and safety procedures
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised
- Supporting the wider warehouse operation when required
- Manual handling of catering supplies when necessary
Please be aware that this is a physically demanding warehouse role, so applicants must be comfortable with manual handling and working on their feet for extended periods.
Training & Support
Previous warehouse and Reach Truck experience is required, with a valid Reach Truck licence/certificate Required.
You will receive an induction and site-specific training to familiarise you with the company’s warehouse procedures, products, systems and health and safety requirements.
What We’re Looking For
To be considered for this Forklift Reach Truck Driver position, you should have:
- Valid D2 Reach Truck licence/certificate
- Previous experience operating a Reach Truck
- Previous warehouse experience
- A reliable and professional approach to work
- Good attention to detail
- Good timekeeping and attendance
- Ability to work safely and efficiently
- Ability to carry out manual handling duties
- A good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures
