- £25.42 per hour including applicable holiday pay entitlement
Holiday pay is accrued separately in line with PAYE regulations and is not available as rolled-up holiday pay for this vacancy.
About the Role
Pure Staff are recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established food manufacturing business in the Droitwich area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking long-term, ongoing work with flexible shift options and the chance to work within a busy production environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
As a Production Operative, your responsibilities will include:
- Working within a refrigerated production environment maintained between 5°C and 8°C
- Moving cages safely throughout the production and despatch areas
- Loading and unloading products accurately
- Operating shrink-wrap machinery
- Preparing products for dispatch
- Recording information accurately and completing relevant documentation
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Supporting the wider production team to meet operational targets
- Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy
Shift Pattern
- Two shift patterns available:
- 06:00 – 16:00
- 16:00 – 03:00
- Full-time and part-time opportunities available
- Part-time applicants can work from 2 shifts per week
- Full-time workers should be flexible to work up to 5 shifts per week
- Shifts can be worked across any 5 days from 7
- Customer operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Ongoing work available throughout the year
Requirements
To be considered for this Production Operative role, you will need:
- Previous production, warehouse or manufacturing experience advantageous but not essential
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working in chilled conditions
- Ability to carry out physical duties and manual handling tasks
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and flexible approach to work
- Strong commitment to health and safety procedures
