Pure Staff Ltd are currently recruiting for an Packer for our client based in Bristol, a precision engineering company who work within the international logistics sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in warehouse roles and use of power and hand tools that is looking to grow within a well-established and supportive company.
Duties and Responsibilities for this Packer role include:
- Build and brace cargo cases to meet packaging standards.
- Wrap and secure goods to protect against damage and moisture.
- Label cases with handling, weight, and temperature info.
- Maintain clean tools and work areas, report defects.
- Follow safety procedures and support packing schedules.
Requirements:
- Strong organisation, time management, and prioritisation skills
- Able to work independently and make informed decisions
- Skilled in handling sensitive/heavy equipment
- Competent in using power tools (saws, nail guns)
- High attention to detail and professional conduct
Extra Information:
- Additional and/or unsociable hours may be necessary when required
- Early starts and late finishes are not uncommon
- Travel away from home and sometimes abroad required
Hours and Pay for this Packer role:
Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 16:30 (30-minute unpaid break)
Pay: £25,646
