As part of the ongoing growth and development of the Marketing Team with our client they are looking to recruit a new Marketing Executive responsible for communications & digital within the consumer channel.
The role will be responsible for:
- Implementing brand and product strategies for the consumer sector in conjunction with the Head of Marketing
- Contributing to profitable category growth for the future.
- Build relationships with key customers and their teams to ensure that the brands are top of mind when opportunities arise.
- Develop campaigns aligned with overall brand strategy alongside other members of the Marketing team.
The candidate will be the expert in local market knowledge understanding the end user through information gained from the Insight Team but also through their own initiative gained from market visits, meeting people and interaction with other internal & external stakeholders. With this knowledge they will then translate this into creative market beating communication plans. The role will involve interaction across several departments including the Sales team, to drive appropriate product, communications and promotional activity that adheres to the agreed ongoing brand strategy. As part of the Marketing Team the candidate will play an integral part in developing the brand but also maintaining current brand values and guidelines.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a proven track record in creating creative communication campaigns utilising whole range of different communication techniques & media platforms.
- Have a proven track record in developing and implementing new and different merchandising ideas, project managing the whole process.
- Be able to translate knowledge of end user’s buyer behaviour into effective & appropriate communication messages.
- Have a sound understanding of the Marketing Mix
- Experience of B2B and B2C marketing
