Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you’ll take ownership of a diverse portfolio of existing, lapsed, and prospective accounts, playing a vital role in accelerating growth across the business. This is far more than a traditional internal sales role.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building, managing, and growing a portfolio of existing, lapsed, and prospective customer accounts
- Creating strong customer relationships through a proactive, consultative, and high-energy sales approach
- Delivering a premium, relationship-led service to key Gold accounts
- Driving sales growth across core product ranges through targeted account development and gap analysis
- Proactively sourcing and converting new business opportunities within designated regions
- Winning back lost and dormant accounts by rebuilding relationships and identifying fresh commercial opportunities
- Reviewing customer buying patterns, identifying lost product lines, and implementing solutions to regain spend
- Leading conversations around New Product Development (NPD), coordinating samples, securing listings, and gathering valuable customer feedback
- Supporting promotional and clearance activity while protecting margin and commercial objectives
- Staying ahead of market trends and competitor activity to provide valuable commercial insight to the wider business
- Maintaining accurate CRM records, pipeline updates, and customer intelligence to support strategic sales activity
- Becoming a product expert, confidently communicating technical benefits and customer-focused solutions
