Standard PAYE Rates
- Monday to Friday: £18.50 per hour
- Saturday: £18.50 per hour
- Sunday / Bank Holiday: £18.50 per hour
PAYE Rates with Rolled-Up Holiday Pay

- Saturday: £20.73 per hour
- Sunday / Bank Holiday: £20.73 per hour
Rolled-up holiday pay is available as an optional payment method for this vacancy.
About the Role
Pure Staff are recruiting on behalf of a well-established food distribution business seeking reliable and professional drivers to support ongoing operations. This HGV Class 1 Night Driver – Chilled Multi-Drop Deliveries role offers year-round work, modern vehicles and the opportunity to join a respected and supportive transport team.
Duties and Responsibilities
As a HGV Class 1 Night Driver, you will be responsible for:
- Completing multi-drop deliveries of chilled products
- Carrying out daily vehicle defect checks
- Loading and unloading deliveries where required
- Safely securing and transporting goods
- Completing delivery paperwork and POD documentation accurately
- Ensuring deliveries are completed on time and to customer requirements
- Complying with Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations
- Maintaining high standards of professionalism and road safety
- Communicating effectively with transport and operations teams
Shift Pattern
- Night shifts available Monday to Sunday
- Typical start times between 20:00 and 02:00
- Average shift length of 10-12 hours
- Weekend work available
- Ongoing work throughout the year
- Additional shifts available subject to business requirements
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
- Good understanding of Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations
- Excellent reliability and time management skills
- Professional and customer-focused attitude
