HGV Class 1 Driver – Day Shifts – Redditch
Immediate Temp-to-Perm Opportunity – £40,000 per year
Pure Staff are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Redditch. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity, offering an immediate start with the chance to secure a permanent position paying £40,000 per year.
During the temporary period, you’ll be paid £17.00 per hour (PAYE) before transferring onto a permanent contract.

The Role:
This is not a trunking role. You’ll be completing store deliveries to retail locations across the UK.
Your duties will include:
- Delivering goods to stores on scheduled routes
- Assisting with unloading deliveries where required
- Completing daily vehicle checks
- Driving Class 1 vehicles safely and professionally
- Providing excellent customer service
- Following all health and safety procedures, including wearing the correct PPE
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of drivers’ hours and working time regulations
- A reliable, professional attitude with good communication skills
- Previous Class 1 driving experience is preferred
