This position is working for drivers wanting to work both day and night shifts delivering general haulage palletised loads, starting ASAP.
Job Specifications:
- Trunk runs to RDC’s and Depots
- No handball on routes
- Curtain sider vehicle
- Daily Vehicle checks.
- A professional manner when dealing with the end customer.
- Always Wearing the correct PPE whilst working (safety Boots and Hi-Vis).
The ideal HGV Class 1 Driver-
- 6 months HGV driving experience is required
- a Valid Digital tacho card.
- a Valid CPC.
- Clean Driving License with no more than 6 points (No TT TS MS DR DD) codes.
Start times can vary but we are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers on day and night shifts to start between 04.00-07.00 and 16.00-21.00.
Shifts can be long but in keeping with tachograph law up to 10 to 12 hours per shift on average.
HGV Class 1 Driver Pay Rates-
Days: £16.00 per hour Monday to Friday PAYE ONLY
Nights: £17.00 per hour Monday to Friday PAYE ONLY
Weekends and Bank Holidays: £19.00 per hour Monday to Friday ONLY
Please note, the above rate quoted does not include holiday pay as holiday pay is paid separately when you book holiday.
