Flexographic Printing Operative – Pershore

Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Flexographic Printing Operative to join our well-established client based in Pershore on a Temp – Perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced printing professional to join a busy production environment and play an important role in the manufacture of high-quality printed products.

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience within flexographic printing and be confident working to production targets while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Your Role

As a Flexographic Printing Operative, your duties will include:

  • Operating and monitoring flexographic printing machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Setting up printing machines in line with production requirements.
  • Loading materials and preparing inks, plates and other printing components.
  • Carrying out quality checks throughout the production process.
  • Ensuring printed products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Monitoring machinery during production and reporting any faults or issues.
  • Making adjustments to machinery to maintain print quality.
  • Completing production paperwork and maintaining accurate records.
  • Carrying out routine cleaning and basic maintenance of printing equipment.
  • Working to production targets and deadlines.
  • Following all company health and safety procedures.
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised production area.
  • Working effectively as part of a team.
  • Carrying out general production duties as required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience within a flexographic printing environment is essential.
  • Experience operating or setting up flexographic printing machinery.
  • Good understanding of printing processes and quality control.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work to production targets and deadlines.
  • Good understanding of workplace health and safety.
  • Physically fit, as the role may involve manual handling.
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Positive approach to work and willingness to learn.
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment would be advantageous.

Pay & Shifts

£15.00 – £18.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Monday – Friday 06:30 – 18:30
