Working with a client who has an exciting opportunity to head this newly created role. Managing a team of two you will help develop the team and improve customer experience.
Main Responsibilities:
- Up skill the Order Entry Team so they could handle parts of the CS role when needed.
- Examine flaws in the existing customer journey and shared then with higher management so we could plan the necessary change.
- Introduce a customer on boarding and first order calls, to improve the customer experience.
- On boarded a new In box Management System (Front), which enables customer enquiries to the right person the first time around.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective customers, nurturing throughout the customer life cycle and ensuring activity and performance is monitored.
- Assist in negotiations with potential and existing customers to determine price structures, contract terms, and payment conditions.
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers and current customers while delivering exceptional customer experience.
- Actively utilise CRM within normal working practices, updating customer contact in real time and clearly setting out action plans, calendar activity, and tasks to facilitate an exceptional customer experience.
Attributes:
- Previous experience of working in a similar new business role generating new customers.
- Experience engaging with senior teams of large businesses.
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of the packaging market, customers, competitors, suppliers and trends.
- Able to manage customer portfolio margin.
- Good self-management principles including delivering against deadlines.
- A consultative selling approach, with ability to understand commercial environments of customers.
- PC literate with ability to utilise CRM in real-time, and undertake data analysis.
