JOB VACANCY: CSCS Labourers Needed (6 Positions Available)
Location: Edinburgh – University Accommodation Site
Start Date: Monday, 18th August
Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour
Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00/6:00 PM
Days: Monday to Friday
We are urgently seeking 6 hardworking CSCS Labourers for a physically demanding but rewarding project at a university accommodation site in Edinburgh. This short-term role is ideal for individuals who are fit, reliable, and ready to work as part of a team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lifting, carrying, and installing student furniture (beds, desks, wardrobes, chairs, etc.)
- Moving heavy items up 5-6 flights of stairs (no lift access)
- Setting up room layouts and making basic adjustments
- Unloading furniture deliveries and distributing items across floors
- Maintaining tidy work areas and disposing of packaging
- Supporting the site team and following all instructions and deadlines
- Complying with health and safety protocols on site
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS card – Essential
- Physically fit and capable of repeated heavy lifting
- Previous CSCS Labourers experience preferred
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and team player attitude
- PPE required: Steel toe cap boots and high-visibility clothing
