Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to support our client based in Manchester. This role offers ongoing ad-hoc shifts, ideal for drivers looking for flexible work with consistent weekday availability.
💷 Pay Rate: £15.40 per hour (+ £2.15/hour holiday pay accrued)
📦 The Role:
- Multi-drop local deliveries (10-12 drops per shift)
- Delivering fresh fruit and vegetables
- Offloading using tail lift and pump truck
- Ensuring safe, accurate, and timely deliveries
⏰ Shift Details:
- Start time: 04:00 AM until finish
- 8-10 hour shifts
- Monday to Friday available
- Optional Saturday shifts
- Ongoing ad-hoc work
✅ Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months holding a valid HGV Class 2 licence
- At least 3 months’ experience in a similar role
- Minimum age: 25 years
- Good understanding of UK road regulations and tachograph rules
- Reliable, flexible, and professional attitude
- Strong communication skills
