Pay Rates

PAYE Basic Rates:

Monday to Friday: £18.00 per hour
Saturday: £19.00 per hour
Sunday / Bank Holidays: £20.00 per hour

PAYE Rates Including Rolled Up Holiday Pay (Optional):

Monday to Friday: £20.17 per hour
Saturday: £21.29 per hour
Sunday / Bank Holidays: £22.41 per hour

Drivers can choose to be paid via standard PAYE with accrued holiday pay or opt for Rolled Up Holiday Pay where available.

About the Role

Pure Staff are recruiting for a Class 1 Night Driver to work with a well-established logistics and distribution business based in the Bilston area, offering long-term ongoing work, flexible shift patterns and genuine opportunities for permanent employment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Completing 1 to 3 deliveries or trunk runs per shift
Delivering goods to RDCs and distribution centres nationwide
Carrying out local and national trunking work
Using an electric pump truck where required
Completing accurate delivery paperwork and POD records
Using electronic proof of delivery systems
Conducting vehicle checks and reporting defects
Ensuring compliance with all driving legislation and company procedures
Providing a professional service at collection and delivery points

Shift Pattern

Flexible working patterns available
Monday to Friday shifts available
Thursday to Monday shifts available
Friday to Tuesday shifts available
Weekend work available
Overtime opportunities available
Typical start times between 15:00 and 17:00
Shift lengths between 8 and 12 hours
Ongoing year-round work
Flexible start times available where possible

Requirements

Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) Driving Licence
Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Good understanding of drivers’ hours and working time regulations
Professional and reliable approach to work
Ability to complete paperwork accurately
Good communication skills
Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
