Your role as an hgv class 1 driver
- Efficient & safe deliveries: ensure timely, accurate deliveries while adhering to safety regulations.
- Communication: keep in regular contact with the depot and clients to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements of Class 1 driver in Skelmersdale
- A minimum of 6 months experience as an hgv class 1 driver.
- Full in-date CPC, tachograph card, and driving licence.
- Must have held a HGV Class 1 Driver licence for at least 12 months.
- Good attention to detail.
- A positive attitude, flexibility, and confidence on the road.
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
- Knowledgeable of driving hours and tachograph rules and regulations.
- Happy for long hours.
Pay & benefits
- £17 days/ £18 nights + holiday entitlement.
- Ongoing role: secure long-term employment after a successful probationary period.

- 10 – 12 hour shifts typically.
- 5 shifts per week with an opportunity for ongoing work.
- Occasional weekend shifts available for those interested in extra hours.
