We’re currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) drivers for a long-term general haulage role based in Birmingham. The role includes trunking and trailer swaps, with start times between 04:00 and 08:00. This is a clean, professional operation with well-maintained vehicles and a great working environment.
💼 What’s on Offer:
- Trailer swaps and site-to-site deliveries
- Ongoing, full-time Monday to Friday work
- Weekly pay and on-site parking
- No handball involved
- £17ph to £19.05ph
Your hourly pay rate is £17 and you will accrue £2.05 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave. We do this to make sure our drivers are fairly paid and encouraged to take proper time off work as we believe regular rest is essential for safety and mental wellbeing of all workers
🔧 Your Role:
- Complete deliveries and trailer swaps between depots and sites
- Use the Microlise app for tracking and PODs
- Maintain clear communication with transport team
- Ensure safe, compliant driving at all times
- Represent the company with a professional attitude
✅ Requirements:
- Minimum year on Class 1 (C+E) licence
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Confident using driver apps (e.g., Microlise)
- Strong communicator and well-presented
- Punctual, professional, and safety-focused
- Must be 25+ years old (insurance purposes)
