Duties:
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities across key target sectors (restaurants, hotels, healthcare, etc.)
- Build and maintain a strong network within the foodservice industry
- Generate and follow up on leads, both self-sourced and from other areas of the business
- Develop and deliver tailored pitches, proposals, and product solutions
- Negotiate commercial terms and close new business with confidence
- Ensure a smooth on-boarding process and develop the initial sales basket with new clients
- Collaborate with internal teams (purchasing, logistics, account management) to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Maintain up-to-date market and product knowledge
What We’re Looking For
- A proven track record in B2B sales, ideally in foodservice, hospitality, or catering supply
- A strong existing network of contacts in the foodservice or hospitality sector
- Commercially savvy, with the ability to identify customer pain points and provide real solutions
- A self-starter with initiative, resilience, and a results-driven mindset
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- A genuine interest in fresh produce and building long-term partnerships
To be considered for this role you MUST have current experience in fresh produce/fruit.
