Pure Staff’s Driving Team are recruiting an experienced 7.5T Driver for our client based in Portbury, covering scrap tyre collections around Bristol.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable Class 2 Driver looking for Monday to Friday work, no weekends and an ASAP start, with the potential for ongoing work.
Pay Rates
Monday to Friday (Days) – £16.50ph PAYE (+ holiday accrued) or £18.49ph (including £1.99ph Rolled-Up Holiday Pay)
How does Rolled-Up Holiday Pay work?
The £1.99ph is your holiday pay and is paid alongside your normal wages rather than being held back and paid when you take annual leave. It is shown separately on your payslip, so you can clearly see your basic pay and holiday pay.
You will still be entitled to take your statutory annual leave.
Monday to Friday Driving Work
This role offers consistent weekday work with 6am starts and no weekend shifts, making it ideal for drivers looking for a regular Monday to Friday schedule.

The Role
As an HGV Class 2 Driver based in Portbury, you’ll be responsible for collecting and unloading scrap tyres around the Bristol area.
Typical work includes:
Scrap tyre collections
Loading and unloading
Heavy handballing
Speaking with customers in a professional manner
Completing 10-12 hour shifts
Ensuring work is completed safely and professionally

What You’ll Need
To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver in Portbury, you’ll need
Minimum 1 year Class 2 driving experience
No more than 6 penalty points
No TT, TS, MS, DR, DD or DG endorsements
Reliable and punctual approach
Comfortable with heavy handballing
