Packing Operative
Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Packing Operative to join our client based in Birmingham Aston. our client is a rapidly growing healthcare and pharmaceutical fulfilment business. You’ll be joining a modern pharmacy and fulfilment centre responsible for preparing, picking, packing and dispatching healthcare products and medicines directly to patients.
Your Role
As a Packing Operative, your duties will include:
- packing pharmaceutical products
- Using Tape Guns to box up packages
- Checking incoming and outgoing stock for accuracy and quality.
- Preparing orders for dispatch and ensuring products are correctly labelled..
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised warehouse environment.
- Hitting KPI packing targets
- Carrying out general warehouse duties as required.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience is essential.
- Good level of physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling.
- Ability to work in a busy warehouse environment.
- Good attention to detail when picking and checking orders.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Positive approach to work and willingness to learn.
Pay & Shifts
- £12.71 per hour
- 4 on 4 off rotation
- Day shifts 08:00 – 20:00
- 45 mins unpaid break
