Vehicle Technician
Pure Staff are currently recruiting for an Vehicle Technician to join our client based in Hereford. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Technician to join one of the UK’s leading motorhome dealerships
Your Role
As a Vehicle Technician, your duties will include:
- Servicing and repairing motorhomes and campervans
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- MOT preparation and general maintenance
- Working on brakes, suspension, engines and transmissions
- 12V/240V electrical systems and leisure equipment
- Carrying out inspections and safety checks
- Keeping accurate job records
- Working safely and maintaining a clean workshop
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic, ideally with motorhomes, campervans, cars or commercial vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle servicing, maintenance and fault diagnosis.
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic faults.
- Experience with engines, brakes, suspension, steering and transmissions.
- Good understanding of 12V electrical systems; motorhome/leisure electrical experience is an advantage.
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and workshop tools.
- Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2/3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent are preferred.
- Full UK driving licence.
Pay & Shifts
- £19.23ph depending on experience
- Monday – Friday
- 08:00 – 16:00
