Parts Sales Advisor
Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Parts Sales Advisor on behalf of one of the UK’s leading automotive businesses based in Derby. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping customers, identifying the correct replacement parts, and working with technical catalogue systems.
Whilst automotive parts experience is desirable, we are also keen to hear from candidates with experience in other technical spare parts sectors, including commercial vehicles, heating, engineering, hydraulics, pneumatics, construction equipment, agricultural machinery, and trade counter sales.

Your Role
As a Parts Sales Advisor, your duties will include:
- Responding to customer enquiries via telephone and email
- Identifying and supplying the correct replacement parts
- Using electronic catalogue systems and parts lookup software to locate components
- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure prompt order fulfilment
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with trade and retail customers
- Providing excellent customer service in a technical parts environment
- Managing multiple enquiries while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Requirements
We would love to hear from candidates with experience in:
- Automotive Parts Advisor or Parts Sales Advisor roles
- Commercial Vehicle Parts
- Boiler and Heating Parts
- Engineering or Industrial Spare Parts
- Hydraulic or Pneumatic Parts
- Plant, Agricultural or Construction Machinery Parts
- Technical Internal Sales involving spare parts identification
- Trade Counter Parts Sales
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience identifying spare parts using electronic catalogues or lookup systems
- Experience working with part numbers, exploded diagrams, or technical catalogues
- Confidence advising customers over the telephone and by email
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good IT skills and confidence using inventory or catalogue systems
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
If you’ve previously helped customers identify and order technical spare parts, your experience is likely to be highly transferable, even if you’ve never worked within the automotive industry.

- £12.76 per hour
- Monday – Friday
- 08:30 – 17:00 (adjust if required)
