Class 1 Shunter (CE) – Tamworth
Pure Staff have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and reliable Class 1 Shunter (CE) to join one of our valued clients based in the Tamworth area. This is a Monday to Friday role with ongoing work and the potential to become permanent. Immediate starts are available.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A UK Category CE licence held for a minimum of 2 years
- At least 12 months’ Class 1 driving experience
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- Good communication skills
- Strong knowledge of UK roads
- A flexible and reliable working attitude
Role Details of a Class 1 Shunter (CE)
- Monday to Friday
- Shift times: 11:00 – 00:00 (midday to midnight)
- 12-hour shifts
- Shunting both Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles
- Constant communication with Warehouse and Transport teams
- A fully paid 90-minute driving assessment required prior to starting
Pay Rates
- £17.50 per hour
- £2.11 per hour holiday accrual
Holiday pay is accrued and banked for when you take annual leave, ensuring you’re properly paid while taking time off.
