Reporting to the Technical Manager you will;
- Supporting Technical Manager
- Issuing new customer and product specifications
- Maintaining library of product and packaging specifications and assessment of specifications need of update.
- Update, review and create product specifications according to BRC, legal and customer’s requirements
- Completing SAQs and ensuring product data is uploaded on customer platforms.
- Support in maintaining the Quality Manual ensuring regular reviews and updated when required writing new procedures.
- Reply to customer’s complaints and conduct investigations
- Raising and record NCRs (root analysis)
- Communicate effectively with Quality Assurance Team, production and warehouse managers to ensure all issues and non-conformance’s are fully understood and agree corrective actions and timescales.
- Ensure all non-conformance’s and issues raised are followed up to ensure satisfactory corrective action has been taken.
- Supporting Technical manager with customer and third-party audits
- Contact suppliers (raw material, packaging and services) requesting documentation for Supplier evaluation and approval procedure.
- Gather, manage and organise supplier’s documentation and ensure that all suppliers have sent requested documents.
- Support TM with specific projects
Skills:
- Holder of HACCP level 3
- Holder of one food quality standard (BRC, IFS, Global GAP, FSSC 22000,etc)
- Understanding of food quality management systems and previous experience of working with food safety standards e.g. BRCGS
- Solid food industry technical and specifications experience.
- IT literate including Excel and working knowledge of customer portals/retailer specifications.
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Ability to analyse data and solve problem.
- Organised with the ability to plan and prioritise different tasks, work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
