To assure the quality of product in the packhouse and complete all relevant compliance related tasks. Guide and support the Operations team in ‘doing’ quality. To be able to manage independently minor daily challenges.
Must have a background in FOOD
Overview:
- To assure the product quality online. To guide and support the operations/production team against customer quality standards. Ensure product quality is reported verbally, on reports or via email to the relevant teams.
- To ensure required tasks are completed to maintain adherence to QMS. Highlight and guide to packhouse team when actions/tasks fall outside of the correct procedures/rules. Shelf life and Customer samples submission and control, Carrying and reporting GMP and G&P audits.
- Ensure effective and regular communication with the QA Manager or a member of the technical team on any matters arising within the packhouse. To ensure communication from the QA Manager (or other members of the technical team) to the whole QA team and packhouse personnel.
- Ensure self-compliance to all Company and Statutory Rules, Policies and Procedures.
- Ensure effective communication with Commercial Planners allowing accurate stock rotation based on actual quality and customer requirements.
Attributes:
- Good level of English
- Understanding of FMCG’s
- Worked in factory environment
- Microsoft Office knowledge
- Working in a quality function
- Understanding of food production, food manufacturing or FMCG
- Auditing qualification – training offered
- Level 1 or 2 Food Safety – training offered
- Level 1 or 2 HACCP – training offered
Other:
£11.15 per hour, paid weekly.
