An exciting opportunity has arisen for Traders across the UK for multiple clients that import fresh produce from across Europe. This will be a fully remote position.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Working closely with the commercial manager within the food service and wholesale markets whilst managing of own portfolio of products
• Manage day to day relationship with strategic supply partners
• Developing relationships with growers/suppliers
• Responsible for managing your own margins

Products supplied; Fruit: With a fantastic network of growers here in the UK with some of the best suppliers for Cherries, Raspberry, Blueberry & Blackberry. Our experience also lies in the Citrus category with products such as Limes, Lemons, Oranges and Grapefruit with other fruits such like; Avocados, Grapes, Peaches, Apricots and Plums.

Vegetables: Supplying a broad range of vegetables mainly from the UK and mainland Europe. The majority of our UK product is delivered into our warehouse daily from local farmers and produce most of the time only being picked that morning, delivering fresh to our customers that evening. Products range from the humble Spud to things such as Bunched and Heritage Carrots, Rainbow Chard, Romanseco, Cape Broccoli, Jerusalem Artichokes, Salsify, Banana & Round Shallots, Purple Sprouting Broccoli, Fresh Peas, Broad Beans, Golden, Candy and Red Beetroot. Mixed Winter Squash and Pumpkins.

It is essential that you have a minimum of two years experience in this sector or a similar role.
