The Role
- Site technical compliance including food safety culture and maintenance of the QMS
- To lead on all third-party technical audits, including BRC, TFS and organic.
- To drive continuous improvement in site standards by questioning the status quo and seeking better solutions.
- Manage the internal audits to ensure year-round “Audit ready” status
- Ensure that any required corrective actions are detailed and delivered.
- Working with HACCP team to develop and maintain the site HACCP, VACCP and TACCP system
- Create and maintain food safety risk assessments as required for audits
- Manage the document control system.
Attributes
- Strong track record with BRC, TFS and customer third party audits for food manufacturing
- Experience in fresh food quality management – in particular short shelf life and fresh produce lines
- Experienced food safety expert including QMS, HACCP, VACCP, TACCP, GMP and KPI management
- Experience of internal auditing
- Demonstrated ability to drive positive change.
- Level 4 HACCP qualification
- HNC/Degree in Food Science or similar subject
- Lead auditor status
