HR Advisor Permanent Faversham, Kent £30000 - £35000 per annum

Overview:

To assist with agricultural workers discipline procedures, grievance procedures and worker
forums in Kent and provide support to HR team in the day-to-day HR activities related to
employees, including conducting HR projects as required. The client would consider
candidates as a HR Assistant OR qualified to CIPD Level 3 as a HR Manager.

The Role:

To monitor the productivity levels of agricultural workers. To monitor disciplinary warnings on
daily basis and to make arrangements to allocate workers for disciplinary hearings. To monitor
agricultural workers’ absence/sickness absence on a weekly basis.

Conduct agricultural worker Disciplinary and Grievance hearings in line with Company Policy and
Procedure. Utilise interpreters as appropriate and update seasonal worker database accordingly.
Conduct investigation meetings and produce investigation reports as appropriate.

To monitor permanent employee’s absence/sickness absence ensuring records are kept up to
date and Return to Work interviews are conducted.

Coordinate, conduct and record employee training as required.

Conduct periodic worker forums as required, investigating findings where necessary.

To assist the HR team with HR, Health & Safety, and Recruitment projects liaising with internal
departments and external authorities and organisations.

To maintain and keep up to date employees’ personal files and HR records and prepare HR
documentation as required for all employees such as reference and confirmation letters, periodic
driving licence checks, and end of year archiving.

Assist the HR function with administrative tasks such annual policy reviews and appraisal
recording. Complete all agricultural filing. Complete monthly probationary and quarterly annual
leave checks and send reminders to Managers.

To be responsible for the HR and Health and Safety Induction process of new permanent
starters, to assist Managers preparing induction plans for permanent employees as required.
