This is stand-alone Generalist HR role with responsibility for all aspects of the employee
lifecycle.
You will have the benefit of administrative support and access to legal advice and guidance
via the CIPD.
Duties to include:
- Inductions
- Supporting Line Managers through Employee Relations cases e.g., Disciplinary /
- Grievance meetings & investigations
- Maintenance of employee records, training records & driving licence information.
- Recruitment Lifecycle (including job descriptions, advertising, arranging and
- supporting interviews, eligibility to work screening, working with agencies.)
- Staff liaison
- Time and attendance monitoring and reporting.
- Health and Safety representative
- Providing support and guidance to Directors on people strategy
- Ensuring all policies and procedures comply with current employment legislation *
- Co-ordinate training for all staff
Person Spec:
- The ideal candidate will be a confident Microsoft office user (Specifically Outlook,
- Word, Access & Excel)
- Use of Sage and Brightsafe for H&S an advantage
- Must be an organised person who is approachable, reliable and flexible, and a
- good communicator.
- Must be able to work individually on own initiative but also be a good team member.
- Ideally 2- 3 years’ experience as an HR Officer, HR Advisor
- Experience with in similar industry would be advantageous
Others:
- 40hrs per week, Monday to Friday 8:30-5pm with 30 mins lunch
- Holiday terms (25 days + BH + Loyalty scheme)
