HGV C (Class 2) Driver Required Urgently for deliveries in Bristol (Fresh Produce)
Pure staff are looking for experienced Class 2 drivers to work alongside one of our clients in the Bristol area.

Pure Staff are currently looking for enthusiastic & experienced HGV Class 2 drivers to join our team of flexible employees to work with this specific client.
Our client is a large (well-known) Fresh Produce haulage company.
They currently require ongoing Class 2 drivers to work with their current team. This job is longer term.
The job itself will consist of stores deliveries, 1 / 15 drops, or collection’s normally per shift of fresh produce to be redistributed out to end users
Distribution is completed in a rigid lorry, with fridge body.
A small amount of handball is to be expected on this job with deliveries split between cages and palates to be delivered to end users.
Experience in transport is not required but could be advantageous.
Our clients are looking for a candidate that can not only drive Class 2 Driver lorry successfully but that can communicate well to ensure that all deliveries / collections are done.
There is a stop call wait procedure to maximise on productivity and keep drivers informed on possible delays or route changes.
This can be a customer facing role so the perfect candidate will be of smart appearance with a polite nature, you will need to show willingness to give that little extra to ensure our clients stores personnel have the best experience interaction with the driver as possible.
Start times can vary but normally between 05:00am and 10:00am shifts can be long hours but in keeping with tachograph law up to 10 to 12 hr per shift on average.
You will require;
- HGV C Driving licence
- New Pass drivers welcome
- CPC Card
- Digital card
- Clean Licence preferred with no more than 6 points (no TT TS MS DR DD) codes
Pay;
Days £16 Monday to Friday PAYE
£19.00 Saturday per hour PAYE
£19.00 Bank holidays and Sunday per hour PAYE
Additionally, to the pay, you will accrue Holiday pay payable with 7 days notice of booked holiday & you will be enrolled after 3 months into a pension.

Pure Staff prides itself on delivering a first-class service and as a direct result we have incentives for referring a driver, Refer an HGV/LGV driver and after they have worked for for a month receive £100 for you and £50 for them!
T&C’s apply but that is paid after 400 hours (about 8 weeks) of work.
