Warehouse Section Manager

My client is looking for an experienced Warehouse Leader to oversee a small team, including two supervisors, in a busy area of a home delivery furniture warehouse.

The successful candidate must be able to lead from the front and be hands on when necessary.

Shift pattern: 2 weeks on 0530-1400 & 2 weeks on 1400-2230 (rotational)

* Excellent motivation skills; able to identify and address staff issues and concerns.

* Must be able to lead by example and champion the values of the Company.

* Must have good attention to detail and a passion to reduce errors and improve efficiency.

* A hands on role – involvement in loading and unloading vehicles as well as management of the depot team.

* Tenacious ‘can do’ attitude

* Prides themselves on attention to detail

* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

* Ability to work to deadlines whilst prioritising workload

* Positive outlook and behaviour

* Travel will be essential to multiple depots to be involved with training as and when needed

Qualifications, skills, and experience

Essential	Desirable
Full clean UK driving licence for at least 12 months	Ideally previous experience within Furniture sector and home delivery.
Organised and strong attention to detail and accuracy	Counter balance & reach licences
Strong/Advanced IT knowledge including Microsoft packages
Minimum 12 months experience in Warehouse/Driver manager role

Salary: £30,000 pa with good career advancement opportunities
