van Drivers – Days – required for immediate starts in Abingdon.
Pure Staff are recruiting for van Drivers working on day shifts for the following role below.
Van Drivers are required for an immediate start on an ongoing basis for a client who specialises in delivering firewood.
The customer is looking for a Driver who is flexible to work Monday to Friday but also flexible to work weekend shifts to support their customers’ needs.
Our client will be accepting Drivers who fit the criteria listed below
Role involves;
- helping with any other jobs that need to be done in regards to the job
- Day shifts * Monday – Friday
- Additional hours as required
- Start times usually 06.30
- Ongoing work for the right candidate
Candidates must;
- Full UK licence
- No more then 6 points ( Not accepting DR, IN, TT )
- Be flexible with working hours
- Have a minimum of 6 months experience driving delivery vehicles
- Be confident in completing all relevant safety checks of your vehicle
- Have good on-site knowledge
- Have knowledge of driver hours and WTD Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Start times can vary but we are looking for Drivers who are available to start between 06.30-07.30, Monday to Friday.
Shifts can be long but in keeping with tachograph law up to 10 to 12 hours per shift on average.
Pay rates-
Days: Monday to Friday £12.50 Per Hour and £13.50 for weekend work
