Pure Staff’s Driving Team are currently recruiting experienced Van Drivers to support one of our longest-standing customers based in Manchester.
Our customer is one of the world’s largest automotive manufacturers, representing some of the best-known vehicle brands in the industry. Pure Staff has proudly supplied this business for many years and has helped well over 100 temporary drivers secure permanent employment within the last three years.

Pay & Benefits
£12.76 per hour (+ £1.54 per hour accrued holiday pay).
Holiday pay is accrued separately and paid when you take annual leave.

The Van Driver Role
As a Van Driver, you’ll be delivering genuine manufacturer vehicle parts to dealerships, garages and trade customers across Greater Manchester and the surrounding areas.
Typical duties include:
- Delivering vehicle parts across Manchester and the surrounding region.
- Completing around 6 scheduled deliveries per day, plus up to 4 additional body-shop deliveries where required.
- Loading and unloading vehicle parts of varying sizes and weights.
- Safely delivering heavier items including engines and oil drums.
- Driving a large wheelbase van.
- Using a tail lift and pump truck where required.
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting defects.
- Checking all deliveries against paperwork before leaving site.
- Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork.
- Providing excellent customer service at every delivery.
- Maintaining good communication with the transport office throughout your shift.

What We’re Looking For
To be considered for this Van Driver position you’ll need:
- Minimum 6 months commercial Van Driving experience (preferred).
- Full UK Driving Licence held for at least 2 years.
- No more than 6 penalty points.
- Confidence driving larger panel vans.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to complete vehicle checks and delivery paperwork accurately.
- Excellent reliability and timekeeping.
- A genuine interest in long-term temporary work.
