Role: Transport Supervisor

Salary: £20,000 – £25,000 (experience depending)

Hours: Variety of Shift Patterns – flexibility required

Location: Birmingham (East Central)

Our client is seeking to appoint a transport supervisor to it’s well established and rapidly growing transport operation.

Duties:

* planning

* looking after the commercials and reporting to the Operations Manager

* driver management

* fleet management

* managing customer expectations

* ensuring driver discipline and company standards are maintained at all times

Experience Required:

* previous supervisory experience in logistics or in a relative industry (Automotive, engineering, manufacturing etc)

* experience of handling a multitude of issues and ability to think “on your feet”

* strong commercial awareness and business acumen

* excellent communication skills

* must be IT literate
