Our client is going through seismic changes across all aspects of marketing and they are now looking to strengthen the marketing team with a Consumer Trade Marketer to support our client’s brands. As a new role within the company and working alongside the Marketing Director the opportunities are huge.
This is an ideal chance for a motivated marketer to join a talented & creative team that will allow them to take their career to the next level. However, you’ll need to come from a background in Trade and Consumer Marketing.
Tasks:
Work alongside the Marketing Director – Trade Sector to;
- Build an unassailable position within the market-sector to include Product, In-store Presence, Store-Support, Customer Engagement, Promotions and Communication.
- Develop brand campaigns aligned with overall brand strategy
- Couple first-hand experience with intelligence from the Insight & Product Management Department to build a detailed understanding of the market sector, retail capabilities and end-user trends on which to build a market-sector strategy that aligns with brand strategy and interconnects with sales-sector strategy
- Keep up to date with marketing and industry news
- Ensure coordination between Marketing, Insight & Product Management, Sales and other functions within business plan

- Project management experience with proven results
- Experience of working closely with stakeholders
- Creative ability across all communication platforms including B2B, B2C, in-store, online & social media
- In-store merchandising and communications experience with proven results
- Understanding of end-user needs and behaviour and its link to market dynamics
- Understanding of retail customer needs and behaviour
- Good communication skills across all communication platforms
- IT skills: Microsoft Office
- Sound understanding of the Marketing Mix
