My client is the UK’s leading independent stockist of specialist goods for motorcycles and is highly regarded by all in their field of expertise. This role is definitely a more consultative rather than a “pure numbers” type of sales position.

The Role

The successful candidate will be required to manage and develop an assigned customer base, and use their relationships and understanding of their customers business to identify areas of growth. You’ll be required to promote the company’s products, it’s activities and promotions to your customers, and prospect an allocated area to grow your customer base.

The Candidate

The individual will have at least 2 year’s experience of working within a sales or telesales environment.

A keen interest in motorcycles and the motorcycle industry is preferred.

To excel in this role, the successful candidate will be self-motivated, have a positive outlook and will relish the challenge of operating in, and contributing to a dynamic, and sales driven environment.

The person we are looking for will be a strong team player and they will want to build an understanding of the market, our products and the motorcycle industry.

The successful candidate will be someone who has experience of working in a fast paced and commercially sensitive marketplace, they will be well organised and possess strong communication skills.

  • A willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge of the motorcycle industry by means of in-house and external training but also under their own initiative.

  • Excellent Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel and keyboard skills.

Key Details

Hours Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:45 p.m.

Saturdays 9.00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (Overtime on a rota basis)

Holiday Entitlement 28 Days (including Statutory Bank Holidays)
