Location: Kitts Green, Birmingham
Working Hours: 0700 – 1530 Monday to Thursday 0700 – 1300 Friday
Salary: £14.00 per hour + holiday pay
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Hours: Full-Time, Ongoing
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and reliable Press Brake Setter to join a well-established manufacturing business in Birmingham. This is a hands-on role within a busy production environment, ideal for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work and working to precise technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting up and programming press brake machines to meet production requirements
- Operating press brake machinery to produce metal components to technical drawings
- Adjusting machine settings to ensure accuracy and quality
- Carrying out quality checks and inspections on finished products
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Working to tight tolerances and production deadlines
- Always maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures and site rules
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience using a Bystronic press brake.
- Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Experience working within a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work to deadlines
- Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
