This role is the central point of contact for our production, procurement and commercial teams. We support all functions throughout the business, including warehousing, logistics, finance and production.

As a member of the Commercial Operations team, you can expect to be challenged by a varied role within an extremely fast paced environment. You will be proactive in handling time critical issues and communicating the solutions across the business.

Overview:
* Complete daily downloads and process incoming customer orders
* Liaise with logistics partners to identify problems and gaps in supply chain
* Work with internal and external customers to ensure goods are invoiced correctly
* Support buying and commercial teams in delivering excellent service to customers and suppliers alike
* Accurately record information and process inbound notification within an ERP system
* Monitor procurement sheets each day in order to manage the short-term logistics
of orders, and manage any potential shortages
* Collate information from supply weekly, analysing any changes
* Responsible for managing Waste / Customer Margin / Country of Origin for supply by compiling and analysing weekly reports
* Checking EPODs on a daily basis to ensure that our deliveries have been receipted as expected. Dispute any discrepancies
* Follow up on debit notes sent through by customers, checking the paper trail and assisting accounts with disputes.
* Update customers system with shipping notification
* Complete reporting outstanding consignment and results on weekly basis

Attributes:
* Previous commercial experience within the food industry
* Previous experience with a stock management system such as Rubicon or similar
* Good standard of education required
