Pure Staff Ltd are currently recruiting for a Coded Welder to work for our client based in Kidderminster. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for our client who specialise in maximising the service performance of process plant and equipment, such as transfer chutes, cyclones, hoppers, vessels, and process pipework used to convey, store or process bulk solid materials within utilities.
Candidates must be committed, take ownership of their work, have pride in their projects and a can-do attitude is essential.
You will be joining an experienced team, with the ability to progress your welding/engineering career.
Duties for this Coded Welder role are as follows:
- Welding Activities Both Plates (MS/SS)
- Structural Steelwork to BS 287 Standards
- Working within the engineering/construction industry
- Experience of working with materials in a range of 4MM to 40MM THK essential.
- Coded Welding ability
- Knowledge/experience of fabrications with ability to understand and work from bespoke drawings (beneficial not essential)
- Accredited workshop environment to ISO 9001 & 1090 therefore quality, compliance and standards need to be achieved.
Hours of work available for this Coded Welder role are as follows:
AM SHIFT MONDAY-FRIDAY 40 Hour week.
07:30 – 15:30 Over time expected when asked.
Pay for this shift is £12.00 – £17.90 per hour depending on experience and level of ability in the field. (determined via weld test)
Candidates must have a valid UK driving license held for 2+ years and be over 21 for insurance purposes as some elements of the role is on-site.
Candidates will be expected to attend an interview and successfully complete a weld test to company standard.
